Thankfully we have everything we need in the Dominican Republic. Food, water and even a Walmart-like store called “La Sirena.”
Our boys have adjusted well to the hotel and hotel room, which has plenty of space for them to run around in. We even made friends with the cleaning lady, who has given us discounts on laundry and brought us bananas from her personal tree! She probably just loves the boys.
It can get somewhat difficult for Jenn being with the boys most of the time, while the team is out and about. Please pray for her. We’ve come to a nice balance, where I often watch the kids, so she can go on campus or participate in team prayer, devotion or studies, but she still is the main caretaker, as I am the main co-director of the project.
Thank you!
