Utterly dependent on Christ, his righteousness, his sacrifice, his resurrection and his sanctifying power. This is what it means to be a Christian. It means we see ourselves as we are: sinners broken before God. And it means we see God as he is: holy yet loving and gracious enough to offer Jesus as the solution for our sin.

This is the message that drives us to do what we do. The world needs to know that its striving to attain perfection is useless, for no one can independently accomplish this high moral demand. Only God can, and he did through Jesus. He offers the world this gift of grace! If only we would throw ourselves to him in worship, thankfulness and dependence.

Likewise, Jenn and I have the privilege of depending on God to provide financially through the faithful giving of friends like you. This is our joyful reality!

The reason that we write this extra letter is to ask if you might be in the position to give a special one-time gift at this time. As always, a few monthly supporters, due to financial hardships, needed to drop off of our financial team. We are working on raising additional monthly support to make up for this loss, but our greatest need is to cover weekly private therapies and medical expenses that our son Gianluca has had and will have in 2017 because of his on-going struggle with Autism Spectrum Disorder. We also must cover several upcoming ministry conferences.

Last year God provided all of our $3800 goal! The total amount we are depending on God to provide moving into the 2017 year is $4000. This covers Gianluca’s in-network therapies for 12 months, which are $280/month out-of-pocket, some out-of-network sessions at $125/hour and it covers some other ministry needs.
