We pray you’re doing well! Over the last year, Jenn, the boys and I have been thrilled about co-leading a team of 9 students and 3 staff to Maracaibo, Venezuela, on a 6-week summer mission trip from May 19 – July 2!

We’ve developed a HUGE heart for lost students in the city, but because of the political unrest, our superiors on Cru’s Global Missions team have decided to relocate our mission trip to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

While we are sad about not heading to Venezuela, we understand and agree with this decision. In fact, we feel this is a move Jesus planned. And we’re excited to reach lost students with the Gospel of Christ in the Dominican Republic as well!

Our Spirit-lead goal in DR is to reach students who don’t know Christ and spread the news about this life-giving relationship they can have with a loving and forgiving Savior, Jesus! With over 150,000 students at the University of Santo Domingo, and an additional 80,000 students in the surrounding campuses, we want to build relationships with students through a variety of ways including outreach activities, evangelism, and discipleship. Being on such a large campus, Jenn and I are excited to see how God will use our team in furthering His Kingdom!

In order to make our goal of reaching lost Dominican college students possible, we need your help in raising support to cover travel, housing, food, materials and other ministry expenses for all four of us! We’re trusting that God will provide the funds, about $8,000, and we’re asking you to join us in mission to share the Gospel with lost students in Santo Domingo.
