Stop for moment and pray this: “Jesus am I still in awe of you?”
When God saved you through Jesus’ life, death and resurrection, He did not intend for you to merely walk around as a forgiven sinner; He wanted you to stand in awe of the perfect Son of the Living God, who was and is and is to come!
Paul even stresses this in Philipians 3:7-10!
“But whatever were gains to me I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith inChrist—the righteousness that comes from God on the basis of faith. I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death.”
Our Jesus ought to capture our love and affection over and over! He is worth it, and we should stand in awe of Him now and forever!
“IN AWE” was the theme at our regional student conference called Radiate, which happened from December 28 (27th for us staff who arrived a day early) to January 1. Close to 1000 students came to meet with Jesus and allow His Holy Spirit to place them “in awe” of Him again. 40 trusted Christ. Praise God for 40 new believers! 94 Committed to spending a year of their life in full-time vocational ministry. 124 Committed to going on a US Summer Project. 98 Committed to going on an International Summer Project.
Courtney Moglia, one of our student leaders at Montclair State Univ. was gracious enough to share with me how the Lord matured her through the conference.
1 – How did Jesus help you grow closer to Him at Radiate? While at Radiate I got to see Jesus as my Healer, my Redeemer, and my Father. The one speaker’s first talk about the “bruised reed” really resonated with me. Throughout these past few years I felt like a bruised reed that for some reason hadn’t broke. God healed me of all my hurts from my past. I’ve had a lot of trouble seeing Him as my Father and through all the talks especially the seminar about how every story whispers His name.
2 – Did Radiate excite you to return to campus and do ministry? After Radiate, I am really extra excited to go back to Montclair and evangelize and get people excited about furthering God’s Kingdom. Also, I got to spend a lot of time with Victoria, who I disciple. Talking with her about everything we learned at Radiate really grew both of us and got her excited to learn more and do more with Cru.
3-What was your favorite part of the conference? Why? My favorite spiritual part of the conference was the seminar about bringing the gospel home since I am the only Christian in my family. But I also loved the New Years Eve party and worshiping in the New Year because I love to dance and I love my Jesus.
How great is it that Courtney and over 1000 students got to take time away and meet with Jesus, so they could be refreshed in their AWE of Him! Pray with us that the conference would produce lasting fruit!

We want to take a moment to say THANK YOU for your financial and prayer partnerships. YOU are investing this continued amazing and exciting vision. We are so grateful you are using your God-given energy and resources to be part of this calling to see lost NJ students come to know Jesus!
Know that your giving is worth it! It is NOT in vain. Christ is using it to plant and grow seeds of the gospel at our schools through our students and us! We can confidently declare with the Apostle Paul: “You will be enriched in every way for your generosity…” (2 Cor. 9:11).
