We’re going to VENEZUELA!

venezuelaVenezuela is filled with warm and loving people, making it one of the coziest cultures. It is pumped with excitement over baseball. It’s known for oil and Hugo Chavez, who created a buzzing reputation for the nation when he made serious changes in government and even the time zone!

Jenn and I are excited to announce that we are leading 7-15 American students on a “summer project” to the universities in Maracaibo, the second largest city in the nation. The mission trip will be 6 weeks long, from May 22-July 2, 2014.

Mainly we will be coming alongside students and staff at “La Universidad de Zulia” in reaching lost students for Christ.

We’re REALLY excited about this. Students especially are amazingly open to the gospel! Last year’s director shared that students will likely place their faith in Christ DAILY while we are there!! Already, one of the student leaders found us on Facebook and has been texting us updates ever since. We’re so thankful that we get to bring the message of Christ to lost university students in Maracaibo, Venezuela!!

So, why are we telling you this NOW?

Part of leading this trip will require us to recruit students—prayerfully reviewing applications and interviewing them. It will ALSO require us to trust God for over $10,000 that would cover travel (for our two boys too), housing, food, ministry costs, etc. We wanted to give YOU a year-end giving opportunity to partner with this awesome cause. You will help reach students for Christ in another country! Anything you designate for the missions trip will be saved for it!

Would you consider giving $700, $200, $25 or some other amount? Whatever the Holy Spirit leads you to give.

Make checks payable to “Cru.” Mail the check to our home address. Email me for our home address.
