Since joining International Students Inc, our prayer has been that we want to see true genuine revival, a move of God so clear that students cannot resist the offer of salvation in Christ..
In all we do, we share the gospel consistently—watching, praying and waiting for the Lord to surface those who are the ripest for a decision for Christ. Praise the Lord that for one of our students, that decision was followed with his baptism on Easter Sunday! We want to equally thank the Lord for our Mandarin volunteers who come every week to make the gospel even more accessible to our students who are not as comfortable in English.
“Kevin” (name changed for security) wrote out his testimony before getting baptized. I have relayed some of the more touching parts below. Although raised in the church, the Lord used our ministry in Kevin’s life to bring him to the point of full surrender.

“Although I feared God, I did not have a relationship with Him. After drifting away from God, my understanding of faith also became distorted. Like the Israelites in Exodus, I created a golden calf for myself out of my own imagination about God. After I came to the United States…. I met the older brothers and sisters and mentors in the Stevens fellowship, and through their guidance I came to [church]. I thank God for His leading in bringing me into this wonderful family. (It was here where Kevin trusted Christ!)
Then came the process of deciding to be baptized. However, I had many reasons in my heart to resist baptism and was unwilling to let go of my own thoughts, such as wanting to wait until my life became more stable. In the end, I still chose to be baptized. [No one who makes] a decision for Christ is persuaded or convinced by proof that God exists. Each of them made their decision accepting God’s prompting. So…my decision to be baptized is not based on my own, but on God’s prompting.”
Praise God for Kevin’s decision to fully surrender to Christ and follow that with obedience in getting baptized! Please pray for Kevin’s growth and maturity.

Another praise and prayer request is for the unique evangelistic opportunity God gave one of our Christian students. Bezaleel, from India, has been involved in our ministry since September 2025. He is an awesome addition to the team and helps in so many ways. “Bez” (as we call him) also participates in a Tuesday discipleship group with two other Christian students (seen in photo). Recently the Lord laid on his heart to begin sharing the gospel with a gamer friend who lives in Iraq with her strict Muslim family. They’ve known each other for years. After we reviewed the Four Spiritual Laws (a tool that explains the gospel in 4 points), Bez presented this to his friend and she indicated a decision for Christ! Wow! He shared “We talked, and she understood that following Christ is a real decision, not something casual and she still wanted it. We prayed together, and she chose to give her life to Christ. It was a simple moment, but honestly really powerful to be part of.” Please pray for Bez and this young new believer as they navigate this decision. Because of her safety she will not tell her parents nor seek out a church just yet.
Thank you so much for your prayers and partnership in the gospel! May Christ continue to fill you with his grace in all you do!
