As many of you know, we had an amazing mission trip this past summer with the goal of planting seeds for international student ministry in Milan, Italy. We partnered intentionally with a local church, praying that they would continue a regular large-group gathering for the international students we engaged — and welcome any new students God brought their way.
Praise the Lord, that is exactly what has happened.
The local church team has faithfully continued the work, in partnership with ISI and with our support as we provide coaching and funding for at least eight evangelistic dinners. Since September, the team has already hosted five dinners, each one filled with a consistent flow of non-believing international students.
And—praise God!—one of those students from a Hindu background has come to faith in Christ and was baptized on November 11, 2025.
“Shirley” (pseudonym for her protection and privacy) was not one of the students Jenn and I were able to meet personally, but the local team met her while passing out flyers and invited her to the ongoing dinners. God used their faithfulness to draw her in.
I was able to get her audio testimony and put it into a video. She shares in English, and someone translates into Italian. Toward the end of the video, you’ll also see clips from the ongoing evangelistic dinners happening right now in Milan.
Praise the Lord for the fruit He is producing!
Thank you for your prayers, generosity, and partnership. Because of you, international students in Milan are hearing the gospel, experiencing Christian community, and responding to Jesus. We’re grateful to be on this mission together.
