Thank you to everyone who prayed for and gave toward our fire victims. It was a scary week for them, but we were able to help them with emergency cash and take them to thrift stores, Walmart and grocery spots. As of now, they are all thankfully living with friends. They are hesitant to find a new apartment because they are also looking for work and may end up needing to relocate.

Aaron and Angel (pseudonyms) have been heavily involved students from before Jenn and I reported as staff with International Students Inc. One is an atheist and one is a Hindu, and both are from India. Please pray that the Holy Spirit would finally bring to fruition all the seeds of the gospel they have heard again and again. So many times!
Also thank you as well as praying for and giving toward our small retreat. It was a great time diving deeper in the word. We watched a series based on a book called The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry. We also spent a lot of time prepping, cooking and cleaning for one another. Of course we saw some local sights near where we were by the Delaware Water Gap in Blairstown, NJ, (thanks to the generous offer of a pastor to use their home).

Although we wanted all of our 10+ Christian students to join, only three believers were able to. However, last minute, one of the Hindu students I had been meeting with all semester humbly asked if he could come. Raymond (pseudonym) thoroughly enjoys everything we do. He even most recently tagged along for a prayer walk on campus! Please of course pray for Raymond’s salvation and for the growth of the three Christians who attended, Fuyu, Charan and Pengjiu.

Finally, please pray for the summer. ISI’s conference in Singapore is happening at the end of June. Although we were excited about this and even were planning on going, my brother decided to plan his wedding for the middle of that week! Nonetheless please pray the Holy Spirit moves mightily and motivates all ISI staff to continue this good work wherever we are assigned.
During the summer, we won’t be having our Friday meetings, but we will have plenty of smaller Bible studies, impromptu get-togethers and 5 official field trips you can check out on the blog if you want to join or help out at. Thank you all for your partnership in the gospel!
