In our February prayer letter, we asked you to pray for our students as they awaited an answer about being formally recognized at Seton Hall Univ. Unfortunately, the Office of Campus Ministry declined our request for this year. They claimed we did not get their approval early enough, even though we felt we did. We in no way see this as a defeat. Students got to trust Jesus through the process! Pray for us as we continue to meet together! God’s work is not bound by this setback!

Although we were not able to begin a chapter at Seton Hall, our student leadership team is hopeful and depending on Jesus. Josh (the student president) will graduate this year and take off a year before attending law school. He’s been such a blessing to work with and has grown so much! He recently got to share at our Fellowship Dinner what Jesus did at Seton Hall over the last year through the movement. Bryan (main co-leader with Josh) will return again in the fall semester! He’s also taken on the “emcee” role at Jersey Cru, our monthly student gathering, where he gets to host for over 200 students. Join us at the next one in the fall!

From NJCU, Efrain (who came to Christ in April 2013 through the movement) has been joining Jenn and me at our church. After our Easter service, he said he feels “great to be in community” and he’s begun attending new believer classes, where he gets to be in the word, pray and grow in Christ!
