Praise God for a fruitful kickoff! Because of your prayers during our 40 Day Prayer Calendar and because of the upfront investment in promotion, we had several fruitful kickoff opportunities! 

On September 4th, we made sure to show up strong at the club fair to promote to as many international students as possible. Look at those smiles and goodies! We are an official club at Stevens Institute of Technology.

On September 6th we were supposed to have an outdoor picnic in Liberty State Park, but it rained! Instead of cancelling, we chose to shift to a fun day indoors at a private gym at Hawthorne Gospel Church. Over 40 students joined and had a great time! Although it was a major shift for which we needed to drop another $1000 for a last-minute bus, these opportunities are priceless in fostering trust and community. 

On September 12th, we had our first on-campus weekly dinner with over 101 students! It was an incredibly energetic time of food, games, laughs and of course an explanation to the students about our style of walking them through the Christian scriptures beginning the following Friday. 

On September 19th over 80 students came to our second weekly dinner and stayed for our evangelistic Bible discussion groups! 

Praise God for such an energetic start to the year! Please pray for our other initiatives like our weekly ESL group, our winter clothes shopping trip and our field trips to the Farm and Princeton. Pray especially for students to encounter the living God through Christ! This is ultimately our main goal, prayer and motivation.
